More than thirteen years ago, this story, inspired by a true story, was first introduced to the world in 2009 under the title Deadly Instincts, published under my former name, Racquel Brown Gaston. Today, I am honored and excited to present its rebirth as Deadly Instincts – The Chase, now reimagined as Book 1 of a powerful trilogy, to be released Fall 2026.

I wanted to bring this story back to life so it could be fresh in the minds and hearts of readers as I prepare to release Book 2, Deadly Instincts: The Antagonist. Revisiting these characters and this journey has been both emotional and inspiring, and I am grateful for every reader who has supported me along the way.
